Membership in the SSEP provides a number of important benefits:
- Master of advanced studies (MAS) in drug development sciences (MDDS): In collaboration with the European Center of Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM) and the University of Basel, the SSEP offers a program leading to the MDDS. The program starts in September 2007 and can be completed within 2 to 4 years (Information). - Regular communication: Information about key developments in the field and access to a discussion forum on specific topics.
- Meetings: Participation in regular scientific meetings organized by the SSEP and affiliated societies.
- Networking: Opportunity to establish cooperations with other members of the SSEP and affiliated societies in Switzerland and abroad, e.g. USGEB, SC-NAT, IUPHAR, and EPHAR.
- Financial support: Travel grants/fellowships for young investigator members via SSPT and USGEB
